The New Year’s Eve celebration, planned and staffed by community volunteers, will be held at the square in the heart of downtown Hershey and is free to the public. Click here for a parking map.

The evening will culminate with the raising of the giant Hershey’s Kiss replica followed by a fireworks display at midnight. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available by various vendors throughout the evening.

The Hershey Story

The Hershey New Year’s Eve Celebration begins at 10 AM as The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue will count down the New Year in countries around the globe.

Rock Around the Clock on New Year’s Eve will celebrate midnight in the Philippines at 11 AM, midnight in Russia at 2 PM and midnight in Madagascar at 4 PM. Each midnight will be marked with a celebratory Bubble Wrap Stomp on the outdoor patio.

From 10 AM to 4 PM, make a zany hat to wear for our celebration or for your own New Year’s Eve. With museum admission, guests can also search for signs of the New Year on a fun-filled scavenger hunt.

The Hershey Story will close at 5:00 PM but the patio will reopen as children’s musician “Mr. Music” performs live from 8:30 – 9:30 PM, followed by a Stomp at 9:30 PM. The bubble wrap stomps are free of charge.

Please note: Cafe Zooka, the Museum Shop and the Chocolate Lab will not be open during the New Year's Eve celebration.

The Swaines

On the corner of Chocolate Ave. and Cocoa Ave., The Swaines will open the show at 9 PM with an eclectic mix of cover songs and original music. Influenced by the likes of Neil Young, Wilco, Old 97’s, Whiskeytown the Drive By Truckers.

The Swaines sound is a blend of rock and alternative country. The band has found an appreciative musical niche in New York City’s Soho and Brooklyn neighborhoods, and have enjoyed being part of Hershey’s summer concert series.

All Jacked Up

All Jacked Up, a Central Pennsylvania rock and roll cover band that formed in 2006, will perform at 9:45 PM.

The band plays covers for the entire family, from Katy Perry to the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi to Journey.

Alex and Sierra


Alex and Sierra, Season 3 Winners of The X Factor USA
will take center stage at 10:30 PM.

After becoming the first group to win The X Factor in December 2013 where they sold over one million copies of their X Factor hits and earned 69 million views on YouTube, they quickly began working on their debut album. The album, It’s About Us, was released in October 2014.
