The New Year’s Eve celebration, planned and staffed by community volunteers, will be held at the square in the heart of downtown Hershey and is free to the public.
The evening will culminate with the raising of the giant Hershey’s Kiss replica followed by a fireworks display at midnight. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available by various vendors throughout the evening.

The Hershey New Year’s Eve Celebration begins at 10 a.m. as The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue will count down the New Year in countries around the globe.
Rock Around the Clock on New Year’s Eve will celebrate midnight in the Philippines at 11 a.m., midnight in Russia at 2 p.m. and midnight in Madagascar at 4 p.m. Each midnight will be marked with a celebratory Bubble Wrap Stomp on the outdoor patio.
Guests will have the opportunity to make a “zany hat” to wear during the festivities. With museum admission, guests can also search for signs of the New Year on a fun-filled scavenger hunt, complete with sweet reward. The Hershey Story will close at 5:30 p.m. but the patio will reopen as DJ “Mr. Music” performs live from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m., followed by a Stomp at 9:30 p.m.
The bubble wrap stomps and zany hat activities are free of charge.
Please note: Cafe Zooka, the Museum Shop and the Chocolate Lab will not be open during the New Year's Eve celebration.

The church will host games for the whole family inside and outside the church from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and serve hot beverages and homemade cookies from 8:00 p.m. until midnight.

FUNKTION BAND
On stage at the corners of Chocolate Ave. and Cocoa Ave., FUNKTION BAND, a Central Pennsylvania funk band, will open the show at 9 p.m.

THE READY SET
Teen pop sensation, THE READY SET, will be performing at 10 p.m. THE READY SET is comprised of 20 year-old Indiana-born drummer, singer, songwriter and keyboardist Jordan Witzigreuter, who creates infectious, danceable pop designed for fun.
THE READY SET’S debut album I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming is the first release from the joint venture between Sire Records and Pete Wentz’s Decaydance Records.
American rock band, BOYS LIKE GIRLS, is the evening’s featured act. They will take stage at 11 p.m and will perform until The Hershey’s Kiss Raise countdown begins. Since 2006, BOYS LIKE GIRLS have sold over 1 million albums and 8 million tracks worldwide, including 3 Platinum and 2 Gold-certified singles.
Crazy World, the band’s third full-length album, will be released on December 11. Crazy World follows their Gold-certified self-titled 2006 debut, which produced the platinum single “The Great Escape,” and the 2009 release of Love Drunk, the album that spawned two platinum-certified singles, including “Two Is Better Than One” featuring Taylor Swift.
