DERRY TOWNSHIP KIDS INVITED TO RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH CONTEST TO RAISE THE KISS IN HERSHEY

Derry Township children between the ages of 4 and 12 can win a chance to help raise the Hershey’s Kiss for the Inaugural New Year’s Eve Celebration in downtown Hershey, December 31, 2005.

One winner will be picked in each category (ages 4-6; 7-9 and 9-12). The children will come up on stage and help send the Hershey’s Kiss up into the air and start the countdown to 2006 with event emcee Tom Russell of WHP-TV.

To enter, visit www.HersheyNewYears.org, print and complete the entry form,
and mail it to: Community Celebration Committee, P.O. Box 41, Hershey, or drop it off at the Township Municipal building, 235 Hockersville Road. Entries are due by December 1, 2005.

The New Year’s celebration will feature entertainment including Big Tubba Mista, food from area restaurants and community groups, children’s games, fireworks and the Hershey’s Kiss Raise.
